With the New Year comes a changing of the guard in our Winemaking team.
We say farewell and a huge thank you to Peter Bartle who has been our Winemaker since 2011, and we welcome our new Winemaker, Pip Battley.
Having assisted Pete with our winemaking since 2017, Pip knows our Central Otago vineyard and wines well!
Pip was born and raised on a farm in North Auckland and her passion for Pinot Noir and desire for travel has taken her from Martinborough to Oregon, Burgundy, Chablis, Nelson, South Australia and Central Otago.
Pip’s philosophy is to let the wine speak for itself, providing just a little guidance along the way. She strives to bring out the qualities unique to our vineyard, gently tailoring our wines with minimal interference.
We look forward to sharing our wines that Pip and our team lovingly craft for you to enjoy.
